Cotton traders are taking a swing at a Turnaround Tuesday rebound, with prices currently 31 to 31 points higher. Cotton closed 78 to 109 points lower on the first trading day of the week. The Thanksgiving delayed CoT report showed managed money increased their net long to 61,285 contracts in the week ending Nov 24. Cotton harvest from the last USDA Crop Progress report for 2020 was up 7% on the week to 84% cut. The average is 79%. The Cotlook A index was firm at 78.95 cents/lb for the 27th. The AWP for cotton is 58.63 cents/lb.
